Purpose of the Program:-
*There is a high requirement for Doctors and other health care professionals globally.
*In developing countries like Nigeria, the patient doctor ratio is very low.
*The options of studying in US and UK or Australia due to high cost of living. Lot of students are going to countries like Ukraine and Russia because of the cheaper cost. But surveys show that studying in such countries have problems because they don’t speak English and they don’t have tropical diseases like we so here.

Access Courses under MEDICAL CAREER TRAINING, MEDICAL CAREER ACADEMY and MEDICAL CAREER PROJECT;-
* These 18 months courses, are currently being conducted under MUN, MCA, MCT and MCP.
* The certificates can be used to gain direct admission into the degree programs of the MUN, which allows the candidate to finish the degree in 4 - 5 years, instead of 6 – 7 years in medicine, while other medical allied courses are finished in 3 and ½ years instead of 5 – 5 years.
* Certificate/Diploma in Medical Studies. Certificate/Diploma in Nursing. Certificate/Diploma in Health Sciences. Certificate/Diploma in Public Health Sciences.
And others Professional Certificate.
Partner Universities;-
* The programs are owned and managed by the MUN, Kaduna and the 6 study centers at six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
* Upon completion, the student can transfer the credit units to gain admission into 4-5 years Doctor of Medicine (DM/MBBS), Doctor of Dentistry (DD) or 3 ½-4 years degree in Nursing or any associated course.
* Successful students may also continue their studies at any of our partner Universities in Nigeria or abroad.
Academic statues of Program;-
* The program is preparatory degree with credit transfer program, any successful student may continue the studies at any of our university or partner university in Nigeria.
Entry Requirements and Periods;-
* Students who have passed o levels in science subjects are eligible even without JAMB
* Students awaiting result may also apply, but such students must get the required result before completion of the program.
Entry Period;-
* There will be uniform entry period for all centers across the federation every year
* May/June.
* September/October.
*January/February.
Entry Requirement;-
* Students who have passed ‘O’ level examination in sciences are eligible for the courses.
* Students from non science streams are also eligible.
* Students awaiting result may be eligible. * Students awaiting results maybe allowed.
*Such students must write undertaken to have the required ‘O’ level passes at credit level before completion of the program.
* NECO/WAEC results can be combined and are acceptable.
* Students with JAMB or WITHOUT JAMB are acceptable to the programs.
* Students must be below 30 years to gain admission.
Scholarship;-
* Scholarship opportunities are available subject to availability and policy of the MUN, MCA, MCT, MCP
Student Sponsorship;-
It is compulsory for applicants to have good sponsor(s), self sponsorship students will not be allowed in to the programs
Clinical Rotation;-
Students can do clinical rotation in out teaching hospitals and special hospital.
* Students can practice medicine or nursing anywhere in the world.
